About Us

Busy Brains is a playgroup .
The play area is set up according to the Busy Brains school readiness programme; these activities are aimed to equip the child with a solid foundation .
Once the child enters school , s/he has been exposed to the necessary skills which will help them cope with the activities at school level.
Busy Brains strives to make use of playful activities to gradually build on the necessary skills every child needs to acquire to become School Ready. We make use of simple objects around the house to stimulate the children during these activities. A big part of Busy Brains is allowing the children to experience through free play and use this time to interact with other children.
Aim
The area will be set up according to the Busy Brains School Readiness Program and there will be a facilitator available to explain the activities. The aim of these sessions are to allow children to socialise with their peers.
These sessions take place weekdays between 7:00 and 17:00 (branch dependant). A fixed monthly rate will be charged, regardless of the amount of sessions attended or duration spent there. This is a nice option for children not yet attending any formal schooling, as it allows for consolidation of activities as well as interaction with other children
